I am a relatively big "Star Wars" fan...so when I found these on the web and then on Etsy, I couldn't help but smile in a "I-like-them-but-they're-kind-of-funny-aren't-they?" way.. :-) Anyhow, check the seller's profile for info (and this type of dolls is called "amigurumi", apparently... you live, you learn...)

So, this set is called Snap-and-Dine and is supposedly single-use, made of plastic... It's designed by Demelza Hill and I suspect it's just a design- at least I couldn't find online if someone is actually selling it (believe-you-me, I was dying to find out how much it would cost, cause as soon as I saw the first two pics at colorbynumbers, I was intrigued by the duality of something so formal/posh-looking that should be disposable. I mean- it wouldn't make much economic sense if the set cost more than what's on the plate in the last pic, would it??)

Paperself eyelashes/Изкуствени мигли

Hm, these look cool.. I mean, catwalk-cool or music-video-cool, not that I personally would wear them. They are by a company called Paperself ( I learned about them via Sweet Station) which says they are inspired by Chinese paper-cutting art.

Weird or innovative? Spiral clock/Странно или иновативно? Спирален часовник

I came across a post on sweet-station that featured these unusual clocks and I followed the link to the site of the designers to find out how exactly it works (and how much it costs, of course). So, here's the deal- the Aspiral clock costs 350 pounds (I think I'll pass...) and works like this: the spiral slowly moves, positioning the red ball (which tells the time- 4.45 in the first picture) closer to the hole in the middle. At 12 o'clock, the ball drops in the hole and comes out from the hole at the bottom, starting the new cycle all over again...I still can't decide if this design is weird or ingenius.. :-)
