Designer Mia Schmallenbach and the French cutlery maker Dèglon have made this intriguing set of nesting knives- each fitting in the bigger one, and so on.

The stainless steel set (which costs about 1200 USD and includes paring knife, carving knife, chef's knife, and filleting (boning) knife ) was designed using mathematical calculations- the Fibonacci sequence to be more precise (and, if you, like me, weren't familiar with the term, it's a sequence in which every next number is the sum of the previous two numbers).
