This girl seems to be on everybody's lips lately- for good or for bad.
I like her voice but I can't decide if I like her image/persona... (something about the way she pouts...or there's something "off" in her face, or, I don't know- she just tries too hard...) Some absolutely love her, and some are just ticked off, but anyway, she's on her way to stardom, so we have to pay notice. Here's "Born to Die" Най-новата звезда на музикалния/моден хоризонт- Лана Дел Рей, която събира еднакъв брой овации и критики напоследък...И аз лично не мога да реша дали ми харесва като персонаж- но иначе има интересен глас, и явно е на път да стане много известна. Чуйте и решете сами.
Sorry I've been under the radar lately.. But here's a comeback... with a song that's been growing on me lately. When I first saw the video, I thought (while listening to the "Damn, damn, damn..." ) that there's awful much in common between Avril and Kristen Stewart's manerism ...but since Avril's been around for a bit longer than KStew, then it kind of seems the latter is mimicing Avril rather than the other way around (or...? I'm confused..)
... As the song progressed, I actually had to conclude that Avril's acting is better than KStew- her crying is really convincing and moving, isn't it? The song is a bit tacky and mass-appeal but it's kind of nice to see Avril's growing up nicely and not being so "sk8ter girl" any more...and from certain camera angles she reminds me of the lead singer of the Cranberries
Looking at this pics (and the amazing video below) makes me wish I was there..right here, right now. Sunny California, who would complain? And these rock formations are quite something. It's the first time I actually get to see what an actual Joshua Tree looks like (up until now it was just a U2-album name to me, you know).
