It's been a while since I've done a post on а project. 

I'm still doing projects and trying different things, it's just.... you know, the taking picures, dowloading, editing, uploading and explaining part can seem like more work than the work itself...

Anyway, I've been doing a lot of home-made decorative tape for the last couple of weeks, so I decided now to share some pics/info- and maybe you'll get inspired.

Quick DIY project with clothes peg/Бърз хоби проект с щипка за пране

I've been seeing here and there on crafts blogs clothes pegs decoupaged with craft paper and I've been meaning to give it a try and see how such a project would look like in real life. Even better, after eating icecream with my kids and looking at the wood stick, it struck me that I could use it, too, and glue it on the clothes peg.

So, here are the two еnd results.
Разглеждайки разни хоби-блогове напоследък ми направи впечатление, че често фигурират дървени щипки за пране, "облицовани" с дизайнерски картон и реших да опитам и аз. Междувременно и след едно наскорошно похапване на сладолед на клечка със семейството, се загледах в дървената пръчица и ми хрумна да опитам да я декупирам и да я залепя за дървена щипка. Ето резултатите..

Remember the vintage apothecary labels I wrote about few days ago? Here's something-something I just did- like literally, just finished it. It was a total improv and I know I should have waited doing it (and taking pictures) till tomorrow for the benefit of a better lighting and all that- but I just couldn't wait :-)
Ако си спомняте, преди няколко дни пуснах пост за ретро-аптекарски етикети, които могат да се използват за хоби-проект. Буквално преди няколко минути завъртях една импровизация с тях и затова снимките изглеждат нетолкова добре на изкуствено осветление, но... просто не можах да се стърпя :-)

DIY project with textile glue/Хоби проект с лепило за текстило

I don't know why but up until yesterday I've never ever used textitle glue. But since I recently came across the handkerchief and jar project (that I wrote about here not long ago), I've been meaning to try it out but with fabric instead of handkerchief.

I went to the local fabric store, chose some colourful fabrics, bought several in the smallest length they would sell it in (20 cm), then bought textile glue from the supermarket, and when I came home, started looking through my pantry for empty jars, and started experimenting.

DIY project: painted jar-turned-vase

Ever since I saw the pictures of painted glass jars and bottles on this blog, I've been dying to try it the idea. There wasn't much explanation in the original post but later I saw a video online (can't find the address now) of the same idea. I did some modifications to both ideas- and this is the easier of my two versions, I'll do another post soon on the other when the jar/bottle labels dry out.

So, what do you need? You need to open your fridge and clear all the jars that have been standing there for months, that's what you need... But don't throw them- here's how you can use them again, and I can promise you, you will enjoy the result.
