The Coffee Kiss/Целувка

This art installation is placed in the Hong Kong Museum of Arts and symbolizes love and marriage by depicting a cop of coffee and a cop of tea mixing in a kiss. Apparently the mix of coffee and tea is a popular drink in Hong Kong.

There are certain themes that are popular among both designers and bloggers, such as the combination of something disposable/everyday with fine design and care for the environment. Keep them coming, is all I can say, because I am partial to the trend.
Here's an innovative series of disposable dinnerware, called "Lugum" which not only looks fiiiine but is 50% less harmful than the plastic versions. Don't like the name, but am otherwise strongly in favour!! Cheers and Bon appetit!

Lucky, lucky people.  Take a look at the transformation that the architect father of a 30-year old ABC producer from NY came up with as a housewаrming present (Ah...)
Mind that the apartment is roughly 60 sq.m, about 15 m in length and 4 m in width and 4 m height. Amazing.

Tази гарсониера в Ню Йорк е претърпяла невероятна трансформация и създава чувство за просторност въпреки 60-те си кв.м. (и нестандартните размери 15 м по дължина, 4 м  по широчина и 4 м височина). А, и да споменем, че бащата на 30 годишния собственик е архитект и му е направил ремонта като подарък...

Dugong

Here's another fascinating sea creature - the dugong. It's a form of a "sea cow", grazing on sea grass (check out that trunk!) and is an endagered species. It's tail is similar to that of the whales and some believe the dugong and mermaid legends are somehow related.

Oще едно странно животно- тревопасния морски бозайник дугонг, който е застрашен вид. Някои смятат, че легендите за русалките са тръгнали от него, заради опашката му.

 You know I love cardboard stuff, right? This entry for the Dyson Award (called MoveIt) definitely caught my eye, and I think it should go into mass production and be sold at the exit of all IKEA shops. Like, seriously- it would fit their concept so much, and I can just picture the IKEA logo carried around in buses and on the streets here (instead of those ugly blue bags that people afterwards use for doing their laundry).
 The prototype might need some adjustments, though- cause looking at the video below, the idea of placing self-adhesive tape is giving me a headache (and I thought the Self Check-in at the airports and putting the baggage label was bad enough) .

This aid that helps you draw a striaght line looks tempting enough to buy but for myself I know that it would be displaced and gone right after the first, maybe second time I use it (with or without the two naughty kids at home)...Cool concept, though. :-)

Признавам, че е хитро като идея, но не съм от тези, които много държат (и много си пазят) такива джунджурии и съм почти сигурна, че ще го изгубя след второто ползване...

I found this Etsy seller via PoppyTalk. Love the colour combinations and the retro font of these mini chalkboards! Not sure I would actually pay 35-50 USD for them (actually, not sure I would need such a thing...but I can appreciate the concept and I do know people who do this kind of pretty/visually stimulating/writing down in colour type of planning).
