Ok...Long story! I saw this wonderful picture somewhere on the web, without any info about it- or source- but so intrigued by it that I decided to make a little investigation. I googled the address of the picture, found it on couple of other sites/online albums which mentioned the house was supposed to be a present by the Icelandic government to the singer Björk... I googled some more and found out that maybe it wasn't a present after all (but that it was considered to be sold to her), and that maybe she didn't buy it at all .. You can check the story here (sidenote- living in Scandinavia, I wasn't surprised by the quotes from the government- they are very careful with all these "public presents" in the Nordic countries, as well as tend to have this "So what?"-attitude to their compatriots that make it big internationally).
So, maybe it's not Björk's house anyway, but it's still cool. There are couple of more pics of the island/house here.

Kъщата се намира на исландския остров Elliðaey и може би- а може би- не е е собственост на певицата Бьорк. По сведения от 2000г., правителството на Исландия е обмисляло дали да й подари острова с къщата в знак на благодарност за това, че е направила Исландия известна- но след това се е коригирало, че може би островът ще й бъде продаден, а не подарен. Не е ясно дали певицата е проявила желание да го купи, обаче... Още две снимки на острова тук.
